That kid is long gone. And this old man is all there's left. I gotta live with that. Rehabilitated is just a bullshit word. So you go on and stamp your form, sonny and stop wasting my time. Because to tell you the truth, I don't give a shit. Arguably those are the best words ever in this scene. Oh who am I kidding, the whole damn movie is the best.
I'd like to think that the last thing that went through his head, other than that bullet, was to wonder how the hell Andy Dufresne ever got the best of him. Red. Excellent writing throughout the whole movie. This is one of the best movies ever produced. Thank you for your interesting insights.
One of my favorite movies. I've watched it dozens of times and never get tired of it. New man at the nger generation, with a different attitude towards black people, perhaps, or just in general. Progress. 2019: still timeless movie. If you didn't know, the evil prison guard in shawshank redemption is played by Mr krabs from SpongeBob. I love Forest Gump and I love Pulp Fiction too but Shawshank Redemption holds a very special place in my heart that no other movie can ever take.

I was born in Mansfield Ohio my daddy would drive us by the reformatory and say that's were bad people go none of us ever went to jail. I feel the best part of this whole movie is the ending when red is walking on the beach towards Andy. I don't know what it is, it just makes me feel really good inside that he finally made it. NOT winning an Oscar is the highest compliment a movie can get. So many winners sucked balls. Bad uploading movie. No match liping & scenes come again and again. Maybe im wrong who knows, but screw frodo man im sorry.
This is the only movie that has confused me on whether lines were scripted or if it was extras shouting out random lines, and the main characters going with it.
That scene of Tim raising his arms to the the emotional release for the need that, by the time that scene rolled around. Fresh fish FATASS got tenderized. One hell of a movie this one of the best. They don't make these kind anymore. ‘But how often does one look at a mans shoes.

The shenk is one of the greatest films of all time. Why even bother uploading with this sound. There's alot of subtlety in each hearing scene. 1947- Parole officer is snide, all on the board are white men. Red acts overzealous. Parole Denied. 1957. Officer is rude and callous,Red is nonchalant. Parole Denied. 1967. The Parole office is younger and polite, There's a woman on the board and the rest of the board looks prim and reserved, Red is humble and blunt about his past and his lifer status. Parole GRANTED. Man, Mister Crabs is a hardass.
The scene where that guy is beaten is horrifying. Notice how everyone went silent. 4-yr-old cousin: “Look at my Elsa doll!” Me: 3:59. WHO IS CUTTING ONIONS. You are only truely free when you learn to stop giving f*ck.
